Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of departmental administration and organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining an effective electronic filing system
- Support corporate marketing and communication campaigns
- Being the primary administrator for key programs
- Monthly accounting
- Responding to inbound emails
- Administer internal surveys
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Be very well-versed with the Microsoft Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Have experience with CRMs and newsletter programs
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time-management skills and ability to meet tight timelines
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and multitask under pressure
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools
- Organization skills
- Ability to multitask
- Interpersonal skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
The position will have opportunities to contribute to major departmental initiatives that support the organization.
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 / per annum.
