Job Skills / Requirements
Our Healthcare Field Managers are responsible for 24/7 support of our healthcare sites throughout the Lower Mainland. In this role, you will be based in our Burnaby office and Operations Centre, and will be visiting sites for incident management, training, quality control, contract KPI, special projects, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary representative for Paladin Security afterhours, including but not limited to, working closely with Health Authority stakeholders, emergency responders, and other authorities for security-related matters.
- Assists in developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating our overall security program, including Post Orders, Policy & Procedure Manuals, and OH&S programs
- Ensure security staff adhere to all guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support all Healthcare Security Officers afterhours, including Security Operations Centre and Scheduling with responsibilities delegated to them.
- Compile accurate monthly statistics or as requested by the Healthcare Operations Manager
- Provide recommendations for security and safety improvements
- Assist in the scheduling, training, coaching, mentoring and overall support for Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Shift Supervisors and Security Officers afterhours
- Conduct incidents investigations as required
- Other duties as needed to meet operational demands
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of work experience in the security industry, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Minimum of one year of supervisory, management, or other leadership experience
- Must have a Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract
- Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial/national standards on fire safety, building codes, security, and protection of privacy
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, including delivering presentations to groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, which includes the completion of use of force training, patrolling up and down stairs, and more
Salary: $65,000/year
