Job Skills / Requirements

Paladin Security has a great career opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our Mobile Response team on a casual basis.
In this role, you will be conducting regularly scheduled patrols, escorts, and lock-up / unlocks, and will be expected to prioritize when emergent incidents occur. You will utilize critical thinking to provide fast and effective support to ensure the safety and security of the public, our clients and their assets, and our Paladin team members. You will need excellent communication as you will be continuously liaising with our Operations Centre, client stakeholders, and emergency services, then writing thorough and accurate reports. 

Shifts: 0800-2000hrs, casual

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Requirements:

• Must have prior work experience as a Healthcare Security Officer
• Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with clean abstract
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity would be an asset
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to make decisions, maintain composure, and take a leadership role in emergency response situations
• Experience in Trauma Informed Care and Indigenous Cultural Safety would be considered an asset
• Basic computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
