Job Description
Guardteck Security’s Mobile Patrol Services provide with 24/7 dispatch and real-time reporting to ensure constant vigilance and rapid response. We provide services to wide range of properties including Office Buildings, residential properties, and educational institutions.
Guardteck Security is looking for a Full - Time Mobile Security Officer in Langley, BC.
What are we looking for?
- Valid security License.
- OFA Certificate – First Aid Level 1.
- Valid Driving License with a clear driving abstract.
- Top notch customer service skills.
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
- Prior security experience is required.
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnights.
- At least 1 year of driving experience.
- Residing in Langley (preferred)
- Available to work Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-Sunday from 23:59-07:59
- Must be a current Guardteck Security employee
Responsibilities/Duties include:
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Conduct regular patrols in a timely manner.
- Respond to alarms and coordinate with client.
- Ability to act with organization’s code and conduct.
- Ability to respond to emergency incidents.
- Effectively communicate with Operations Manager.
- Report issues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to analyze situations and de-escalate accordingly.
- Ability to perform job related assigned tasks.
- Exercise good judgement dealing with tense situations.
- Create Shift Summary reports for manager’s review.
- Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively.
- Ability to respond to alarms and notifying dispatch.
Certification Requirements (All)
British Columbia Security License
This is a Full-Time position
