Security Officer

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay Rate: $15.00+ per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Positions are available for various posts, days, and shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems
• Control access points and verify identification
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Write clear and accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a security presence
• Enforce site-specific rules, regulations, and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous security experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Requirements:

• Must have an active Maryland Guard Card
• Must pass a background check and meet all clearance requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
