We're Hiring: Sales Development Specialist

On Target Earnings Year 1: $70,000+
About the Role
Are you equal parts sales-savvy and operations-minded? We're looking for a Sales Development Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves being a critical component of the engine powering a high-performing sales team.
In this on-site/hybrid role, you'll drive inside sales activities and support our field sales team – from generating qualified leads to managing CRM data, crafting proposals, and keeping the sales process moving seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Generation: Prospect via phone/email, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for our Field Sales Team
- Territory Research: Identify high-potential industries and decision-makers using LinkedIn, directories, ZoomInfo, CRM, and related tools
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain clean, accurate CRM data and produce reports that drive strategy
- Sales Support: Assist with proposals, follow-ups, internal coordination, and light admin tasks
- Team Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and the Executive Team
Your Impact Will Be Measured By
- Outbound touches (calls, emails)
- Qualified leads & appointments set/conducted
- Lead conversion rate and pipeline contribution
- CRM accuracy and proposal turnaround speed
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Marketing, etc.)
- 0–2 years’ experience in sales support, inside sales, or SDR/BDR role
- Strong communication skills and resilience when cold calling
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- CRM savvy (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot); bonus for LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your diverse contributions. This includes a base salary in the range of $50,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience) and a performance-based bonus/commission structure. Your variable compensation is tied to lead generation results commissioned on a monthly basis along with a bonus incentive upon contract signature for all qualified opportunities you generate. On average, hitting targets should put your On-Target Earnings (OTE) around $70,000 – $75,000 in the first year, with uncapped upside as we grow.
