Job Skills / Requirements

Unarmed Flex Officer (Unarmed)

Location: Zanesville, OH 

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flex (all days, including weekends)

Shift: Various shifts (days, evenings, nights)

Must have open availability to cover any day or shift for call-offs and fill-ins. 

Pay: $15.30 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Flex Security Officer (Unarmed) to ensure the safety and security of our large warehouse facility. As a Flex Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, and providing a visible presence to deter theft, damage, or unauthorized access.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the warehouse grounds, including entry/exit points and loading docks.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Enforce access control procedures, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed entry.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and assist with emergency response as necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Assist with managing the flow of deliveries and shipments to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure the overall safety and security of the property, equipment, and employees.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow security protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time and handle physical tasks.
• Must be flexible with work hours and available for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
