About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Site Supervisor to lead our security team at a premier luxury apartment complex. As an internal candidate, you already understand the values and expectations of our community, and we appreciate your familiarity with our operations. In this role, you will supervise the security staff, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the safety of residents, guests, and the property. This is a key position requiring leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage security protocols effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Security Team: Supervise and manage the security officers on-site, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor Operations: Oversee security systems, including surveillance cameras, entry/exit points, and alarm systems, ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Incident Management: Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication with management and law enforcement.
  • Enforce Policies: Ensure security protocols and company policies are followed consistently by the team, addressing any violations or gaps in procedures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage security officer schedules to ensure proper coverage at all times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to concerns and providing excellent service to both residents and guests.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risks, and routine activities, submitting them to management for review.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency evacuations, medical assistance, or law enforcement support when necessary, ensuring all protocols are followed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with property management, other departments, and external law enforcement to maintain a secure and peaceful living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Internal Experience: Current employees are strongly encouraged to apply for this supervisory role.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience supervising or leading a team, particularly in security or law enforcement, is preferred.
  • Security Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or related fields, with a clear understanding of security procedures and emergency response.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, security staff, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively, providing clear direction to staff during emergencies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security technology, CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems is required.
  • Certifications: Must have or be willing to obtain any necessary security certifications or licenses.
  • Background Check: A successful background check and drug screening are required for this position.
