Job Skills / Requirements

ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Officer  

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - Robinson Township area   

Schedule: Any Day, Any Shift (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available) 

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour   

Position Overview

We are seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Officers for assignments in the Robinson Township area of Pittsburgh. This role requires a strong security presence, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents while maintaining professionalism and customer service standards. 

Candidates must already hold a current ACT 235 certification and be prepared to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. 

What You Need

• Current ACT 235 Certification (required)
• Personal firearm
• Level 2+ retention holster and duty belt
• Valid License to Carry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• 1–3 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, military, or customer service preferred
• Strong written communication skills for accurate and detailed report writing
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned site
• Ability to pass a background check

Bonus If You Have

• Military background or relevant college education
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required for the post)
• Ability to pass a drug screening (if required for the site)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible armed presence to deter criminal activity
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas
• Monitor property and report suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies
