Armed Security Officer – Luxury Retail

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a polished and highly professional Armed Security Officer to represent the standard of excellence expected within a premier luxury retail environment. This role requires more than security presence—it calls for discretion, composure, and an elevated approach to client interaction. The ideal candidate understands the balance between vigilance and hospitality, ensuring both safety and a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a secure, controlled, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors
• Serve as a visible yet refined presence on the sales floor
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with a luxury retail atmosphere
• Monitor activity and respond promptly and professionally to any incidents
• De-escalate situations with calm authority and sound judgment
• Collaborate closely with store leadership to uphold security standards

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Level III (Armed) Security License required
• Must possess personal firearm and full duty gear (holster, duty belt, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in standing security roles
• Proven experience in armed security required
• Experience in luxury or high-end retail environments strongly preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable presentation and professional demeanor
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Profile:

• Background in luxury retail, hospitality, or client-facing roles
• Ability to engage with discerning clientele with confidence and discretion
