Job Skills / Requirements

Armed Security Officer (Level III)

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer to provide protection at a retail distribution facility in Houston, TX. This position requires maintaining a strong security presence, monitoring site activity, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible armed security presence at the site
• Monitor and control access to the facility
• Patrol premises and respond to incidents as needed
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and management

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Level III (Armed) Security Guard Card
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience in a similar environment (distribution, warehouse, or retail site preferred)
• Must be able to stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts)
• Must have own firearm and full duty gear (holster, duty belt, etc.)
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail distribution or warehouse security
• Ability to handle high-traffic environments
