Rate of Pay: $65,000
Schedule: 40 hours week, flexible scheduling, occasional evenings and part of on-call rotation

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director shall oversee clinical services across the agency and provide supervision for therapists. They shall function as an effective member of the interdisciplinary care team.   

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CEDARS Clinical Services according to the mission, goals, and policies and procedures of CEDARS Youth Services.
  • Be responsible for the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of CEDARS therapists and interns. 
  • Plan and facilitate program enhancements and quality improvement activities. 
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual program budget and monitor revenue and expenses for the program.
  • Assure compliance with all credentialing, insurance/managed care requirements, and accreditation standards.  
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision for provisionally licensed therapists and interns.
  • Work in collaboration with program leadership to identify the mental and behavioral health needs of CEDARS clients/families. Oversee the implementation of trauma-informed clinical supports and interventions within programs to best meet client needs.
  • Conduct mental status exams, initial and annual diagnostic assessments, and provide clinical oversight of formal therapy services for identified clients. 
  • Maintain a client caseload for outpatient therapy services. Develop and implement a treatment plan for assigned clients and families based on assessed needs and maintain complete and accurate client records for all assigned cases.  
  • Connect clients with appropriate services and ancillary support through referrals to community providers and coordination of care that promotes whole person wellness
  • Provide program-specific and agency-wide training to CEDARS staff as needed.
  • Participate in on-call clinical support rotation.
  • Obtain approved continuing education hours needed to maintain licensure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of CEDARS.
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients served by this organization and professional boundaries in the provision of services. Treat all clients with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) with relevant clinical experience. 
  • A genuine interest in and concern for all youth and families.
  • Sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the clients and families CEDARS serves. 
  • Ability to represent CEDARS in a positive and professional manner.  
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. 
  • General knowledge of computers and software. 
  • Have a valid Nebraska driver’s license and a good driving record.
